Trapping Bobcat
The Bobcat is a curious animal and eye appeal is very important when trapping them. The Dirt Hole Set works well when feathers or fur are spread around the set location for eye appeal. Click Here for Instructions for the Dirt Hole Set
Cubbies work well on Bobcat and should be made relatively large. #220 and #280 Conibears attached to a tree trunk several feet above the ground with bait located above the trap also work well and are dog proof.
In my area the Bobcats are found around the edges of swamps and beaver dams where there is an abundance of snowshoe hares.
