Ridding Your House of House Mice

Finding how mice are getting into your house is sometimes the most  effective way to control mice. The fall time of the year tends to be the time these little pests are looking for warm homes. A word about poisons: I do not recommend poisons for two reasons; your pet/child safety and the fact that even if the mouse eats the poison he is going to end up dying somewhere in your wall and stinking.

Above on this page you will find proven mouse control products.  If you have Pets and / or Children in your home we recommend using the live catch and sonic pest chasers.  The snap traps can snap pets and children, while the glue boards and glue trays can stick to pets and children.  If no children or pets are in your home the glue products and snap traps are very effective mouse control.

If the mice are stealing your bait.  Sometimes, tying a piece of cereal or pet food smeared with peanut butter to the bait pan with thread or fishing line will work great. Other good baits would be cheese or a small piece of raw bacon.  The raw bacon and cheese tend to stick to the pan making it harder for the mouse to take without setting the trap off.

Also, remember when setting your mouse traps, to set in dark out of the way places such as under refrigerator, stove, cabinets, laundry rooms, pet food area, basements and attics.
